Sri Sathya Sai School Laos Celebrates Bhagawan's 99th Birthday

The Sri Sathya Sai School in Laos commemorated the birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on 23 November 2024 with a series of meaningful events.


The day commenced with the resonant chants of Buddhist monks, setting a tranquil atmosphere for the gathering of devotees, students, teachers, and parents. A communal breakfast was served to over 1,500 participants, fostering unity and shared devotion. Participants offered alms to the monks in celebration of Swami’s birthday.


In the spirit of service, a blood donation camp was organized, encouraging attendees to contribute to the community's well-being. The celebrations concluded in the evening with a cultural program, showcasing the talents and dedication of the students and staff.


That evening, the Sri Sathya Sai School in Laos hosted a vibrant cultural program to celebrate Sri Sathya Sai Baba's birthday. The event featured an array of performances, music, and a variety of delicious food, attracting over 2,000 attendees. Notably, the former Prime Minister of Laos, His Excellency Mr. Thongsing Thammavong, graced the occasion with his presence, highlighting the celebration's significance.
