Malaysia, Blood Donation Drive by SSSGC Taman Daya

The Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) Taman Daya, in collaboration with the Lions Club JB Centennial, organized a two-day Blood Donation Campaign on December 7th and 8th, 2024, at AEON Mall Bandar Dato Onn. This community-oriented event underscored the importance of selfless service and showcased the incredible impact of partnership in addressing local health needs.

On the first day of the campaign, SSSGAM partnered with Sultan Ismail Hospital to facilitate the blood donation process. A commendable turnout was seen, with 51 blood donors registering. Out of these, 41 donations were successfully collected, while 10 donors were disqualified due to medical reasons. The community’s response demonstrated a strong commitment to contributing to lifesaving efforts.

The second day saw even greater participation, with Hospital Sultanah Aminah joining as a supporting partner. This time, an impressive 106 donors registered, leading to 62 successful donations. Unfortunately, 44 potential donors were also disqualified for medical reasons. In total, the campaign culminated in the collection of 113 bags of liquid love over the two days, reinforcing the message that together, we can make a significant difference.

This campaign highlights not just the need for blood donations but also the incredible spirit of giving within our community.Without Swami’s guidance, none of this would be possible. His teachings inspire us to serve others and embody the essence of selfless service.
