Malaysia, Annual Back to School Programme by SSSGC Taman Daya

With the divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Taman Daya Centre in Johor Bahru successfully organized its Annual Back to School Program on 7th February 2025. This event aimed to support and uplift underprivileged children in the community by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to begin their school year with confidence and hope.

This program was made possible through the generous contributions and unwavering support from devoted Sai family, well-wishers, and volunteers. Together, a total of 15 children from B40 families, ensuring that they had the essential items to start their academic journey with a smile.

A total of 9 children were gifted school uniforms, bags, shoes, and socks, enabling them to attend school with joy. In addition, 6 other children received assistance for their school fees and educational accessories, lightening the financial burden on their families and making education more accessible to them.

The spirit of selfless service shone brightly throughout the event, as devotees gathered in a show of unity, compassion, and love. Every effort was guided by the profound teachings of our dearest Sai, who always emphasized the importance of education as a means to transform lives and society. 

The success of this event is a testament to the collective efforts of our Sai family, demonstrating the power of faith, love, and service to make a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most. As our beloved Sai always emphasise - “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray”.
