Laos - Indian Parliamentary Delegation Visits Sri Sathya Sai School
A delegation led by Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), visited the Sri Sathya Sai School in Vientiane, Lao PDR, during the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) held from October 19 to 22, 2024. The delegation received a warm reception from the students, teachers, and devotees of the school.
During the visit, the students presented a captivating cultural program that showcased the school's commitment to rich traditions and values. Shri Teli, visibly moved by the service-oriented environment, toured the school campus and commended the management and devotees for their outstanding efforts in providing free education to numerous children. He specifically lauded the school's holistic approach, integrating academics with values-based education.
Furthermore, Shri Teli acknowledged the increasing recognition of Sri Sathya Sai School students in India, highlighting the recent widespread attention garnered by their prayer clip with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This recognition further solidifies the bond between the two nations.
